We recommend that you do not dispense with the mechanical locking option from the outside so that it is still always possible to use a normal key here in an emergency (battery fault, failure, etc.).
The locking cylinder must therefore also have an emergency and hazard function. If you were to power an ABUS reinforced lock bar using HomeTec Pro, this use would not be approved by ABUS.

The typical life of a new set of high-quality batteries is up to two years in the keypad and up to one year in the door lock power unit and the remote control.

Please note: The way it is used is of course also a factor – the more often it is used, the more often the batteries will need changing.

All four dead batteries must first be removed and replaced with new batteries (AA batteries). If the old batteries are changed one at a time, the notification is not reset.
