Laying cables is often impossible or not desired. In this case WLAN cameras are an option, since they transmit video signals over the wireless network to the PC or router. WLAN pan/tilt cameras remain flexible even after installation: depending on the camera type, they can be moved (panned and tilted) over the Internet or via app.
