Basically, they work similar to mechanical locking cylinders. The difference is that they are not operated with a key, but with electronic locking agents such as a chip key, a transponder oder by entering mental codes. After a successful verification the cylinder couples in and opens the door.

If you notice the loss of a chip key or a transponder, you can react immediately. In the freely available Software SECCOR Key Manager the respective locking agent can be deleted easily. This information is the transferred to all cylinders via the transfer device. The lost chip key does then no longer posses any rights and has no function any more. Thus security holes can be closed right away.

Security fittings SLT and double knob cylinders CLX with number ring enable opening doors by entering codes. Thereby different users can be furnished with different codes. After entering a valid code, the cylinder couples in and the door can be opened. The advantage of these systems is the "keyless go", which means that users can leave a house, apartment oder building without a key as they can access the building any time by entering a code.

The double knob cylinder of the CodeLoxx series can be used on all doors with PZ mortise lock, multiple locking and panic locks. Thanks to modular construction and flexible extension system the cylinders can be fitted into almost every door strength. This method is also very advantageous when it comes to measuring mistakes, installing new doors or moving.

The security fitting SLT is suitable for all doors with PZ mortise lock and catch lever.

Yes. SECCOR is with its complete portfolio a specialist for combining door opening and arming. This enables a comfortable and reliable use of the alarm system while offering the plus in security. Due to the principle of coerciveness doors can only be locked when the alarm system is locked and unlocking of the door is only possible after deactivating the alarm system. Thus the possibility of false alarms is virtually eliminated.

We put special emphasis on a sophisticated system to secure power supply. All locking agents – be it chip key, proximity tags or proximity cards – are passive devices and thus do not need any power. Cylinder and fitting are supplied by long-living lithium-ion batteries. Users are warned regarding a pending low voltage by a warning tone and a delayed opening of the door. This slowly increases the pressure while leaving the user enough time to replace the batteries. In case of an emergency clever tools such as the PELT or the external power input ESE help to supply the cylinder with current.
