AFFING – 21 September 2018 – ABUS presents major innovations in its professional video segment at “Security 2018” (25-28/09/2018). Firstly, the company has added 25 new products to its portfolio of network cameras which are available in different resolutions and designs. Secondly, it showcases ABUS Video Solution, a video management software package which offers benefits to both retailers and large-scale enterprises.

The company's portfolio of network cameras is growing rapidly

ABUS is adding 25 new products to its range of network cameras. Eight of these models are part of the advanced range and are available in various designs and with 2 or 8 megapixel resolutions. They feature an attractive, functional design and are easy to install, especially on suspended ceilings. Thanks to the 3-piece technology, mounting the base holder of the dome camera takes less time than before and the other two elements only need to be clipped on. High-quality components, such as the hypersensitive Tamron lenses and Sony image sensor complement the new portfolio.

A recording solution for every requirement

With the ABUS Video Solution, (AVS), ABUS is offering an all-in-one solution for particularly demanding video surveillance installations. AVS consists of both hardware and software and is fully scalable: In collaboration with the pre-installed video management software (VMS), between 4 and 32 hard drives can be used for recording per server and can also be connected to other servers if required. It also uses a RAID option and an optional redundant power supply, which can protect against the loss of valuable data. This makes AVS the perfect solution for any business ranging from traditional retailers up to shopping centres which are several square kilometres and have hundreds of cameras.

At the ABUS trade fair stand 2B11 in hall 2, ABUS will demonstrate how AVS can be integrated into a cash register system typically used in retail stores.
