AFFING – 1 March 2018 – Today’s access control systems have to meet the highest digital and physical security standards. At the same time, users expect integration into home automation systems and intuitive online and app-based operation. ABUS wAppLoxx, which won the  iF Product Design Award 2017 and Plus X Award for the “Best Product of 2016/2017”, combines these modern requirements and offers networked security with maximum convenience and flexibility. ABUS will present the innovative access control system at Light + Building 2018.

With the electronic wAppLoxx locking cylinders, doors can be opened locally as well as globally via PC, tablet or smartphone. An encrypted peer-to-peer connection for data transmission provides security. Changes to locking rights can be implemented in just seconds and up to 20 cylinders and 150 users can be managed. For optimum ease of use, wAppLoxx can be networked with alarm and video surveillance to form an all-encompassing security system. Home automation functions can also be integrated into this system: users can conveniently operate garage doors or lighting systems via the electronic locking cylinders and hotkeys in the app.

Interested parties are warmly invited to experience the interaction of ABUS wAppLoxx with the alarm, video and home automation functions for themselves at Light + Building 2018, booth A50, hall 9.1. Friendly and professionally trained ABUS employees will be on hand to answer any questions.
