AFFING – 20 September 2018 – Today’s access control systems have to meet the highest digital and physical security standards. At the same time, users expect integration into home automation systems and intuitive online and app-based operation. ABUS wAppLoxx, which won the iF Product Design Award 2017 and Plus X Award for the “Best Product of 2016/2017”, combines these modern requirements and offers networked security with maximum convenience and flexibility.

The electronic wAppLoxx locking cylinder can be used to open doors locally as well as on the way via PC, tablet or smartphone. A peer-to-peer connection provides security for data transmission. Changes to locking rights can be implemented in just seconds and up to 20 cylinders and 150 users can be managed. For optimum ease of use, wAppLoxx can be networked with the alarm and video surveillance to form an all-encompassing security system. Home automation functions can also be integrated into this system via the KNX interface: In this way, the garage door or living room light, for example, can be conveniently controlled by means of the electronic locking cylinders or hotkeys in the app in no time at all. At “Security 2018” in Essen (25–28/09/2018), ABUS will also present wAppLoxx SE – the access control system of the future for the end-consumer market.

Interested parties are warmly invited to experience the interaction of the ABUS wAppLoxx with the alarm, video and home automation functions for themselves at “Security 2018”, stand 2B11, hall 2. Friendly and professionally trained ABUS employees will be on hand to answer any questions.
