Two stage wins, two more stage podiums and a 3rd place in the overall classification – that's the excellent track record of BORA – ARGON 18 at the Tour of Bavaria.

Sprint captain Sam Bennett to beat John Degenkolb

Sprint captain Sam Bennett raced to victory at the first and the third stage, beating John Degenkolb – the winner of Milan-San Remo and Paris-Roubaix. Consequently, Bennett wore the yellow jersey of the race leader on two stages. Above, he scored a third place in the sprint at the final stage in Nuremberg. With his performance, Bennett proved that he belongs to the fastest men in the peloton. Time trial specialist Jan Barta laid the foundation for his 3rd place overall with a great individual time trial on Saturday. The Czech national champion rode to the podium with the third-fastest time, thus confirming his results from the last two years in the same race.

For BORA – ARGON 18, located in Upper Bavaria with the team's headquarters, an extremely successful home tour comes to an end with those excellent results.
