Security expert ABUS offers the retrofittable PR2800 reinforced bolt lock, an enhancement of the proven models of the 1800 and 1900 series. The VdS-approved model impresses with its stable mechanics and its high quality as well as its low-wear metal drive components. The result is that the reinforced bolt PR2800 can be operated extremely quietly and conveniently. A particularly convenient feature is the installation: thanks to a telescopic tubular body, the lock can be quickly adapted to different door panel widths during installation.
The new PR2800 reinforced bolt lock from ABUS is as impressive visually as it is technically, in every aspect. With its high quality and low-wear metal drive components, the stable mechanism contributes to improved safety and provides optimum protection against violent intrusion attempts. Thanks to the anchoring on the lock and hinge side, optimal resistance can be achieved. The operation noises have also been optimised and were able to be reduced to a minimum - no matter what material the door is made from. As with previous models, the ABUS PR2800 provides protection in all house, flat and entrance doors across their entire widths, and can be operated from inside and out.
For easy installation, the PR2800 reinforced bolt has versatile adjustment possibilities: besides the bolt length mentioned previously, the closing direction can be set, and the key removal can be determined individually. Extensive mounting accessories ensure that the additional safeguard can be easily mounted even in difficult installation conditions. The PR2800 is supplied from the factory as standard with a VdS-approved ABUS door cylinder and an extraction protection rose. The PR2800 is available in white, brown and in stainless-steel-look, and is suitable for door widths of 735 mm to 980 mm or 980 mm to 1200 mm.
