Megapixel freeze

See more with megapixel cameras

Megapixel cameras provide a higher resolution for videos than analog cameras or VGA network cameras. The higher attention to details makes identifying people and objects exactly possible. Either you monitor the same part of the picture and discover more details, or you monitor a considerably larger picture in the same resolution. The identification range of 4 meters is double that of a VGA camera, which only manages 2 meters.

A 1.3 MPx camera, for example, can record a picture resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, a network camera with VGA resolution only allows a maximum of 640 x 640 pixels. The picture to the left reveals how a megapixel camera can cover a picture detail four times a large as a VGA camera. Or to put it differently: One megapixel camera replaces four VGA cameras.

All details are picture perfect – no compromises! Using the megapixel lenses, you can record all the details of events in full width and in absolutely outstanding sharpness, especially over extensive surveillance zones.

Use a megapixel lens with a 2.0 megapixel camera to make full use of the megapixel technology. A camera can only perform the most demanding surveillance tasks professionally when it has the optimal lens.
