The ABUS CityChain 1010 is thelock and chain combination for everyday use.

The 9 mm thick hexagonal chain made of special hardened steel offers good resistance against theft attempts – and at the same time can be flexibly connected. The tamper-proof ABUS Plus cylinder increases your motorbike’s or scooter’s protection.

In addition to its security features the CityChain 1010 is full of useful extras. For example, the all-inclusive LED lit key will illuminate the keyhole when unlocking and unlocking, even in the dark. Also, you only have to lock one end of the chain on the CityChain 1010.

Technology:

  • 9 mm thick hexagonal chain with textile sleeve to protect against damage to the paintwork
  • The chain, the housing and the structural parts of the locking mechanism are manufactured from specially hardened steel
  • ABUS Plus cylinder for high protection against manipulation attempts, e.g. picking
  • Two keys included in the scope of delivery, one of which is LED lit
  • Automatic keyhole cover to prevent corrosion and the ingress of dirt
  • ABUS Code Card for duplicate and replacement keys

Operation and use:

  • The greater the chain length, the easier it is to attach to a fixed object

Transport:

  • For secure transportation we recommend the Transport Bag ST1010 (only fits 110 and 140 cm chain lengths)

Tips:

  • You can order several one-key-fits-all locks. That means you can use a single key or closure in conjunction with multiple locks
  • Very easy handling, because only one end of the chain has to be locked
