Owing to the tremendous success of this camera range, ABUS has now expanded the product line by a further 22 new models with resolutions of between 2 and 8 megapixels.

ABUS’ professional video range is split into three product lines: the ‘Basic Line’, for reliable basic equipment for your video project, the ‘Advanced Line’, for more exacting requirements, and the ‘Special Line’ for special requirements.

Due to the high demand, ABUS has expanded the ‘Basic Line’ product portfolio by an additional 22 cameras, with 2-8 megapixels, for use in indoor and outdoor monitoring applications. Not only can customers now pick from a wide range of different designs, including Mini Dome, Mini Tube, Dome and Tube cameras, they can also choose between fixed focal lengths (Fix Zoom) and a motorised zoom lens. All of the ‘Basic Line’ models are true all-rounders: The high-quality day/night cameras have integrated infra-red lighting and delivery first-rate images thanks to their excellent WDR performance. Outdoor models are able to withstand extreme weather conditions thanks to their protection classes of up to IP67 and are resilient to vandalism (up to IK10).

“We are delighted that our basic line is so popular with our customers”, explains Marco Schmitt, Director of Sales for ABUS Security-Center. “The basic line is unbeatable in terms of its price-performance ratio for standard video surveillance purposes and can be easily distinguished from our competitors thanks to its multi-award-winning design.”

Various components have also been added to ABUS’ range of video accessories, with a new switch range now available, for example. Installations where the laying of network cables is not possible are also now easier: using the Powerline Adapter, any socket can be transformed into a reliable network connection.
