Setup of the mobile access via app

 

No, you can only access the live image via the app.

When making a new internet connection, a port between 1024 – 65535 is automatically used.

Please check the following:

  1. Is the monitor in the docking station?
  2. Is the docking station connected to the network?
  3. Do you have an internet connection?
  4. Have you connected the monitor to the internet? Please note the following icon XX at the top edge of the monitor (what icon? must be integrated on the website)
  5. Does your password for the monitor match the password for the app?
  6. Do you have an internet connection to your mobile phone?

The website http://23.23.185.237/cgi-bin/didtest.cgi must be called up in Explorer. After entering the DID (The DID address is the hardware address and is the unique identifier for the device. You can find this in your monitor's network information or on the product label) you get the IP address and the port.
Please note that the IP address is not permanent. It changes daily (dynamic IP address).

Yes, 4 cameras can record in parallel but without audio.

Yes, images and sound are encrypted and transmitted wirelessly and digitally between the camera and monitor.

Yes, the name of the app is “TVAC16000”. The app is free of charge to you and compatible with iPhone and Android.

Pairing creates the exclusive, encrypted wireless connection between the monitor and camera.
To connect a camera with the monitor, proceed as follows:

  1. Connect the camera and the monitor to the power supply.
  2. In the monitor menu, select “Camera”, then “Pairing” and the required camera (1-4). The system counts down from 60 seconds.
  3. During the 60 seconds, press the PAIRING button on the camera cable until the green LINK LED on the front of the camera starts flashing.
  4. Once the connection is established, the LINK LED on the camera is lit up continuously

Should there be no signal, please check the following:

  1. Is the camera connected to the power supply (does the LED glow red)?
  2. Is the monitor charged?
  3. Are camera and monitor paired (see question above "What does pairing monitor and camera mean and how does it work?")?
  4. Is the camera within reach of the monitor?
  5. Is the signal between camera and monitor disturbed?

Please check the following:

  1. The camera has no power supply.
  2. Briefly press the pairing button on the camera while the monitor counts down from 60.
  3. Please press the pairing button for a short time only, not continuously.
  4. Restart the monitor.

Possible reasons are:

  1. Are the date and time set correctly?
  2. Is the SD card locked (Lock/Unlock?), not inserted or empty?
  3. Have you formatted the SD card? It must be formatted before it is first used.
  4. No movement was detected.

Wi-Fi-enabled Cameras (TVAC19000C/TVAC19100C)

No, you can only access the live image via the mobile application (app).

Please check the following:

Is the Camera connected to the network, either through WiFi (see Quick Installation Guide) or LAN?

Does your Router have an internet connection?

Do you have an internet connection to your mobile phone when outside of your local network?

Ensure that that a Micro SD Card is inserted into the memory slot on the camera and that it is working correctly.  If a previously used Micro SD Card is being utilized, please ensure that it is formatted following the prompts inside the mobile application.

Yes. When browsing through your recordings on the app, press the recording that you want to download until a window appears to confirm. 

After downloading it on the App, click on “Play” in the upper right corner. Here you can send it via Email plus other options. 

When the Camera is too close to one or more WiFi devices like Routers or other WiFi Cameras (less than 5 m), there could be too much interference with the WiFi signal of the camera. In that case, it much better to connect it via LAN or move it farther away from other WiFi Devices if possible. 

No, they only are powered through the power cord itself.

Please make sure that the Notification is enabled and the Detect Mode is switched on. After a firmware update, the settings must be setup ones again.

Please make sure that you gave permission to the App to use your camera roll.

Make sure that your phone is not switched to silent mode and that speaker sign is switched on in the live mode of the Camera in the App. 

Please make sure that you gave permission to the App to use your Device Microphone. You can check this in the settings of your phone. Keep the Button for speaking pressed while speaking. 

Yes, the Camera comes with an adaptor cable for LAN connection. An extension cord is not included.

If you do not have a signal, please check the following:

  5. Is the signal between the camera and recorder disrupted?

Please check that the sensitivity function of the motion detection is switched on. Is the schedule configured correctly?

Possible reasons are:

  1. Are the date and time set correctly?
  2. Is the SD card locked (Lock/Unlock?), not inserted or empty?
  3. Have you formatted the SD card or the external hard disk drive? It must be formatted before it is first used.
  4. No movement was detected.

Please check the following:

  1. The camera has no power supply.
  2. Briefly press the pairing button on the camera while the monitor counts down from 60.
  3. Please press the pairing button for a short time only, not continuously.
  4. Restart the recorder.

Please check the following:

  1. Is the recorder connected to the network?
  2. Do you have an internet connection?
  3. Have you connected the recorder to the internet? Please note the following icon at the top edge of the monitor.
  4. Does your password for the recorder match the password for the app?
  5. Do you have a fast enough internet connection to your mobile phone?

WLAN Network Cameras (TVAC19000A / TVAC19100A)

Check the following points:

  1. Make sure that your network supports DHCP.
  2. Are the mobile device and the camera in the same network? Make sure that both devices are in the same network at the initial configuration.
  3. The router has no power supply.
  4. The camera has no power supply.
  5. Try to add the camera by entering the data manually.

If your personal Wi-Fi is not shown in the selection list, check the following:

  1. Make sure that the SSID of your router is visible.
  2. Change the encryption type of your router to WPA/WPA2/WPA2-PSK.

Check the following points:

1.   Is the camera plugged in and switched on? Make sure that the power supply unit is not defective and that the power supply is connected.

2.  Is the camera installed in the surrounding area of the the network?

3.  Make sure that the camera is correctly configured.

4.  Make sure that your mobile end device is in the network or in the 3G network.

Possible reasons are:

  1. Wi-Fi network devices can impair the signal transmission. Make sure there is enough distance between the camera and other Wi-Fi devices.
  2. Remove any dirt from the camera. This can badly affect the picture quality.

Possible reasons are:

  1. Is the SD card inserted properly?
  2. Is the motion detection activated?
  3. Format the SD card before using for the first time.
  4. Make sure that you use a Class 10 SD card.

The camera is equipped with IR LEDs for the night mode. The IR light is reflected on surfaces, such as glass. Do not position the camera in front of glass surfaces and ensure that it is installed in protected outdoor areas.

Please check the following:

  1. Make sure that the SD card was inserted and formatted correctly. Save important data before the formatting, as afterwards it will be no longer available.
  2. Make sure that you only use one Class 10 SD card.

Possible reasons are:

1.  Are the date and time settings on your mobile end device correct?

2.   Is the correct time zone selected?

3.   The system takes the time from the internet as soon as it is connected. Make sure that the camera is connected to the internet.
