Double casement windows Doubly secured

In order to protect double casement windows from being broken into, we have developed appropriate window security locks.

Some double casement windows have a fixed middle bar. This is a particularly break-in-sensitive area. In our product portfolio there are two security locks that can be mounted on the middle bar in such cases: the VdS-certified double casement window lock DFS95 and the window additional security lock 2520.

Double casement windows that do not have a fixed middle bar mainly include balcony and patio doors (technically referred to as "French doors"). To protect such French doors against break-in, we recommend our window bar locks, which are optionally available with and without alarm function. The mechanism installed in the window bar lock (= without alarm function) has been certified by VdS for all variants.
