Description
The 3rd generation of our most popular city helmet gets an upgrade: The Urban-I 3.0 ACE awaits its next adventure with four new features.
Thanks to TriVider, a significantly larger visor and a revised shell concept, the urban helmet in the ACE version now looks much sportier. The extended visor gives the Urban-I 3.0 ACE a touch of mountain bike dynamism for your next city tour. The TriVider harness system also adds to the sporty character of the helmet. Its three outer shells allow for slick design highlights: One of the robust outer shells made of polycarbonate, for example, is attached to the lower edge of the everyday helmet, perfectly rounding off the look. The modified rear LED light helps in often-confusing city traffic: The helmet and its wearer are even more visible to other road users thanks to twice the number of LEDs in the ACE version. The rear light with 180° visibility can also be easily recharged via USB. With the Urban-I 3.0 ACE, nothing stands in the way of a ride to the office or into town.

Technologies

  • Lower edge protection: polycarbonate (PC) outer shell covers the lower edge of the helmet and protects against scratches, impacts and signs of wear and tear
  • Ponytail Fit: thanks to the opening in the height-adjustable adjustment system, the helmet is also suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns, or braids
  • Reflector Sticker: for better visibility in the dark
  • Bug Mesh: keeps flies and other bugs off your head without messing with the helmet's ventilation
  • Rechargeable, clip-on Rear Light: attaches to the back of the helmet and ensures greater visibility – can be charged with a Micro-USB charging cable
  • Four different light modes (Rear Light): Steady, Power, Pulse and Flash selectable – corresponding to light and weather conditions
  • Operating time per mode in h (min.): depending on the weather conditions and type of use, the available usage time of the light is at least 7 hours in continuous mode and in flashing mode at least 20 hours
  • Battery charging time (light): the charging time until the battery is fully charged is approximately 2 hours
  • Clip on peak: removable peak attached with pins to protect against sunlight
  • Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: rotary wheel at the back of the head for individual adjustment of the helmet to the head size
  • Trivider™: particularly flat divider with fixed positioning of the straps to prevent unintentional adjustment
  • Comfort Pads: soft padded inserts for optimum comfort, attached to the helmet with Velcro
  • Removable, washable pads: can be removed and washed by hand or replaced if necessary
  • Magnetic buckle: the straps are fitted with a high-quality, magnetic FIDLOCK buckle to enable the chin buckle to be opened with one hand, even when wearing gloves
  • In-mould process: production process in which the inner cushioning material made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) is foamed directly into the outer shell made of polycarbonate (PC) – this creates a durable and robust connection
