Reliable detection using passive infrared light (PIR)
The Secvest wireless motion detector is a passive infrared motion detector (PIR motion detector). This means it detects individuals moving in its detection range using their body heat and reports unauthorised access to the alarm panel.
Animal-proof
The animal-proof detector reliably detects people moving around the room using their body heat, without taking any notice of pets weighing up to 25 kg. Despite being pet-proof up to 25 kg, however, on occasion the detector may detect pets that weighing less than this amount, triggering a message to the alarm panel. The risk of a false alarm in this case is especially high if the animal moves, jumps or flies very close to the detector.
Detector features
The angle of view of the wireless motion detector is 90°, and its detection range is up to 9 metres, depending on installation height. Its new spherical lens design makes for even more reliable detection and much more even coverage. It is also equipped with anti-creep protection.
