    Founded in the small town of Volmarstein in Wetter an der Ruhr, ABUS has international locations not just in Germany, but also in Europe, the USA and more. It all started with padlocks: ABUS founder August Bremicker and his sons forged the locks themselves in the cellar of their own home and also sold them themselves.
