The glass breakage detector test unit is an accessory for the acoustic glass breakage detector. It simulates the sounds of breaking glass and thus checks the function of your acoustic glass breakage detector. Use the glass breakage detector test unit to generate three test frequencies, representing the shattering of the three most common glass types: single glazing, double glazing, safety glass. You do not have to open the case of the acoustic glass breakage detector to test it. The test device has a special activation tone that switches the glass breakage detector to test mode. In test mode, the glass breakage detector alarm relay is not activated. This means that no alarm is triggered at the alarm center by simulating glass breakage.
