The ABUS Security-Center professional video management software (VMS) uses an easily understood and easily operated user interface to enable monitoring, control, and management of video data. This makes integrating and operating all video sources in a comprehensive security system as convenient as possible. VMS Enterprise allows up to 64 cameras to be managed and monitored – with diverse security functions which are often required in train stations or airports, for example. The software provides optimal interfaces for integrating external data (from checkouts, cash machines, etc.). Further security functions include anti-swivel protection, a cover, and lost focus detection: the VMS compares the current image with a reference image generated during setup and triggers an alarm (by e-mail or host) should deviations be detected. The dual-stream technology provides optimum resolution: full resolution for recording motion (event, details) and a lower resolution for continuous recording (fewer details). This has the advantage of making optimum use of the available storage capacity. VMS Mobile (APP14000) can also be used to call up data, view live images, play back recordings, and directly control or move any PTZ cameras connected. It is also possible to integrate a NAS system (TVVR35000/TVVR70020) using this software.
