More light, better images. To ensure that your cameras record clear images even in the dark, you need (infrared) light. With the semi-discreet IR illuminator MEGA LED L, you provide your camera with the necessary light even in total darkness. The 98 LEDs provide infrared light with a wave length of 880 nm for night shots. The IR illuminator is suitable for both black and white and day/night cameras. The range of the IR light illuminator depends on the camera's light sensitivity. At 0.01 lux, the range is around 60 meters. At 0.1 lux, the range is 30 meters. The beam angle is 20° x 20° (horizontal/vertical). The IR illuminator MEGA LED L is dust-proof and protected against jets of water (IP66). Outdoor use is no problem at a temperature range from -30°C to + 40°C. Its maximum power consumption is 18 W. Using its integrated light sensor, the IR illuminator detects twilight or darkness and switches on. If light intensity is sufficient, e.g. in daylight, it switches off.The MEGA LED L (TV6850) is a semi-discreet IR illuminator. The wave length of this illuminator (approx. 880 nm) is somewhat shorter than the wave length of a discreet illuminator (940 nm) of the same type (TV6851). The advantage of the semi-discreet illuminator is its increased range. Only when close to the IR illuminator, the faint red glow of its LEDs can be spotted.
