The IR HD-SDI 1080p outdoor camera provides images in full HD resolution, transmitting them as seamless, real-time pictures (uncompressed) via a video cable (co-axial cable). It feeds HD images in 2-megapixel quality to a CCTV system, which are then processed and saved by an HD-SDI recorder. Using an HDMI converter, live images can also be displayed directly on an HDMI monitor or on TV sets.
This innovative generation of HD megapixel cameras provides particular advantages when replacing, retrofitting or enhancing existing systems: Thanks to HD resolution, an HD-SDI camera can monitor 4 to 5 times the area which a standard analog camera could. The very sharp, detailed images are, for example, ideally suited for identifying license plates, persons, etc. Tangible price advantages are gained by the continued use of existing infrastructure.
An electrician or building engineer will find it effortless to install, as connection by co-axial cable is a matter of routine. An IT expert is not required. It has never been easier to integrate high-resolution images into existing video surveillance!
The HD-SDI outdoor camera features a motorized zoom lens, allowing the angle of view to be set optimally, as well as the tried-and-tested functions for robust and reliable use outdoors: Internal cable routing (tamper-proof), pre-installed mount and sunshield. The infrared illumination which is synchronized with the zoom factor is a further highlight: When zooming, the IR intensity is automatically adjusted (zooming in = sharp IR angle = intensity is reduced). This prevents any disruptive flashlight effects and allows the camera to produce detailed images in all usage conditions, day and night. Thanks to protection class IP 66, the camera can withstand any weather.
