This interface converter is a serial IP converter, also called Terminal Server or Device Server. This product enables remote access, control and management of any serial devices over an IP network or the Internet. It is used to convert serial asynchronous data from an RS232, RS422 or RS485 port to TCP / IP or UDP packets, allowing for authentic serial communication over the Ethernet.
