Description
This duo deters thieves. A disc brake lock with alarm function and a specially hardened steel chain provide reliable protection for your bike.
Let's start with the 12KS Black Loop chain: this is made of hardened steel and is 12 mm thick. It therefore offers high resistance to attempts to break it open. With a length of 120 cm, it is flexible and makes it easy for you to find a suitable object to secure your motorbike. To do this, you place the chain around the fixed object and put the other end over the bolt of the disc brake lock – and your motorbike is secured.
Disc brake lock with pre-alarm
In addition to the chain, the GRANIT™ Detecto XPlus 8077 2.0 has a disc brake lock with a 13.5 mm diameter locking bolt and an intelligent alarm function. Only a brief pre-alarm sounds in the event of minor vibrations. However, if someone really does tamper with your machine and the disc brake lock is moved several times, the loud 100 dB alarm goes off. This attracts attention and puts thieves to flight.
Do you only want to park your motorbike for a short time? Then you can also use the disc brake lock without the chain.
By the way: this lock-chain combination is also suitable for the garage if you want to secure your motorbike to a wall/floor anchor.

Technologies

  • 12 mm chain (loop) with textile sleeve to protect against damage to the paintwork

  • 3D Position Detection – recognises vibrations and the smallest movements in all three dimensions and triggers the alarm function
  • If the lock is moved, an intelligent pre-alarm with seven signal tones sounds first – if the lock continues to be attacked or moved, the full alarm, which is at least 100 dB loud, then sounds for 15 seconds

Tips

  • You can order this lock keyed alike with other locks. This means that several locks match one key or one key code
  • Lock-chain combinations are a very good solution for attaching motorbikes to fixed objects
  • The loop chain allows optimum use of the chain's length
  • 2 in 1 lock – the lock can also be used separately from the chain
  • The chain is specially adapted to the Detecto 8077 2.0 disc brake lock and cannot be combined with other locks
  • Please note that the lock-chain combination cannot necessarily be fitted to every brake disc on which the disc brake lock on its own fits – the installation space on the rim must offer sufficient room for the locking bolt of the chain
  • To limit the possibilities of brute-force attempts to break open the lock, it is recommendable to avoid placing the chain on or close to the ground
  • When armed, the red flashing light has an additional deterrent effect
