Description
The V165 gate valve lockout for securing closed flow valves increases occupational safety in industry and trade.
If the supply of liquids or gases to systems and machines is interrupted by turning a hand wheel because of necessary maintenance work, misunderstandings and accidents can occur in everyday work. The V165 gate valve lockout helps to prevent this. The hand wheel is enclosed by the lock and additionally secured with a padlock. Thus the hand wheel is locked (lockout) and at the same time marked as intentionally turned closed (tagout).
