Description
The Rock 83/70 provides reliable protection against unauthorised access and theft. It is extremely robust and flexible thanks to the interchangeable cylinder. This is what effective protection looks like for high-value goods and objects:
The padlock owes its rock-like resistance to attempts to break it open by pulling or drilling to its solid lock body made of hardened special steel, from which the sturdy shackle is also made. The corrosion-resistant 83/70 Rock padlock secures goods in warehouses and behind factory gates, for example.
The interchangeable cylinder enables adaptation to existing bittings so that key management can be optimised. If you choose the keyed alike solution, our specialist dealers will gladly help you implement this.
What is more, the lock body of the Rock 83/70 is designed so that it can accept standard Euro profile half cylinders, Scandinavian oval cylinders or the ABUS figure-8 cylinder, depending on the version.
For more flexibility at the place of use, the lock is also available in a variant with a completely removable shackle.
According to the European padlock standard EN12320, this high-security lock achieves security class 5 out of 6.
