Like its predecessor, the Moventor 2.0 is an all-mountain helmet. The MIPS version has additional impact protection integrated into the helmet. This feature provides even better protection for the heads of adventurous mountain bikers.

Description
Steep climbs, high-speed racing, all-day adventures: "Down-country” is action-packed, which means the demands on equipment also increase.
Down-country is all about going up fast, down fast and repeating. The Moventor 2.0 MIPS is virtually perfectly for the demands of mountain bikers. The MTB helmet is lightweight, well ventilated and has a deeper fit that gives more protection at the back of the head. When the trail points downwards, the ten air inlets and nine air outlets provide good ventilation. In addition to all the well thought-out features for off-road use, the MIPS model has impact protection. This is intended to protect the brain, especially if the cyclist's head hits the ground at an angle during a fall. In a fall, the brain is exposed to strong rotational movements that can lead to severe brain injuries. With MIPS, a movable low-friction plastic shell is integrated into the helmet to ensure that rotation is reduced and the head is better protected.

Technologies

  • Lower edge protection: polycarbonate (PC) outer shell covers the lower edge of the helmet and protects against scratches, impacts and signs of wear and tear
  • Ponytail Fit: thanks to the opening in the height-adjustable adjustment system, the helmet is also suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns, or braids
  • Mips layer: thin plastic shell located between the inner padding and the energy-absorbing shell of the helmet to counteract rotational forces in the event of a fall
  • Reflector Sticker: for better visibility in the dark
  • Height-adjustable peak: the position of the peak can be adjusted thanks to locking positions to provide optimum protection from hanging branches and sunlight
  • Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: rotary wheel at the back of the head for individual adjustment of the helmet to the head size
  • Trivider™: particularly flat divider with fixed positioning of the straps to prevent unintentional adjustment
  • Comfort Pads: soft padded inserts for optimum comfort, attached to the helmet with Velcro
  • Removable, washable pads: can be removed and washed by hand or replaced if necessary
  • Push-in buckle: for safe and practical handling, the straps are fitted with a classic chin lock (three-pronged connection) for opening and closing
  • In-mould process: production process in which the inner cushioning material made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) is foamed directly into the outer shell made of polycarbonate (PC) – this creates a durable and robust connection
