The wireless opening detector detects and reports the unauthorised opening of doors and windows using a magnetic contact. In the event of an incident, it informs the wireless alarm panel, which then triggers the corresponding set alarm.
Detection and notification
The product consists of a detector and a magnet. These components are mounted parallel to each other on the moving part of the window or door and on the window or door frame. The detector triggers as soon as the distance between the two contact points is increased when the window or door is opened. To ensure that a window can still be tilted when the wireless magnetic contact is closed, it can also be mounted on the lower window frame.
Even more protection with additional wired alarm zones
The wireless opening detector also allows wiring with additional detectors that effectively extend the intrusion protection. The detector can be connected to a passive glass break alarm, for example, which can be mounted to the window pane and detects window breakages.
