The hybrid function allows combined operation of the latest HD network cameras (2.0 MPix) and analog SD cameras (resolution: 0.3 MPix). This guarantees cost-effectiveness and return on investment, for example when converting and upgrading existing CCTV systems.
Real-time recording at full resolution
Users can record all channels at full resolution in real time with the HDR plus –
for maximum precision and detail in the video data. Especially when recording fast-moving scenes (for example in casinos), this is a precondition for accurate images – because each frame might contain crucial evidence.
User-friendly video surveillance and a perfect overview
The HDR plus has all the functional and equipment features of the HDR series. One of the highlights is the user-friendly recorder software, whose main menu on the HDR plus also features an overview showing all the main camera and network settings.
Mobile access via app
Users can view video images using the ABUS iDVR iPhone app. They can then access all the cameras connected to the HDR plus, wherever they are. Moving PTZ cameras can be controlled, up to 15 recorders can be configured, and up to 4 cameras can be viewed simultaneously.

The recorder can be quickly and simply installed and put into operation using the setup wizard.
