More light – better images
In order to record clear images even in the dark, the cameras need (infrared) light. The mini IR illuminator provides cameras with the light they need to operate in pitch black conditions, with infrared light at a wavelength of 850 nm from 2 high power LEDs facilitating night time recording.
Multi-compatible, with automatic light adjustment
Mounted directly on the camera, the IR illuminator is suitable for both black/white and day/night cameras. Should light levels drop below approximately 2 lux, the illuminator's light sensor reacts, automatically switching the IR-LEDs. Depending on the light sensitivity of the camera, the IR illuminator operates at a range of up to 10 m with a beam angle of 90°.
Perfectly suited to outdoor use
The IR illuminator is protected against dust and spraying water (IP54 protection rating), meaning it can be used in sheltered outdoor areas within a temperature range of -20°C to +50°C, with a maximum power consumption of 4 watts.
Note on the product:
A 12 V DC power supply unit is required in order to put the product into operation (CCTV power supply unit, item no TV7616).
