The wireless motion detector is a component of the Secvest 2WAY and is also suitable for the Terxon with a wireless expansion module. The passive infrared (PIR) motion detector detects moving body heat and reports it to the alarm control panel. The ideal installation place for the wireless motion detector is directly at the wall, up to 2.4 meters above the floor, in one of the room's corners. Any place that is exposed to a heat source (e.g. radiator) or a window is not suitable for installation. Likewise, do not install your motion detector in the immediate vicinity of power cables, gas lines, or electronic devices, which generate heat when operated for long periods. A fax machine, for example, can generate heat in your absence and trigger a PIR motion detector. The angle of view of the wireless motion detector is 90 degrees, its detection range is up to 15 meters, depending on the elevation at which it is installed. In addition, it is equipped with creep zone coverage. The creep zone coverage prevents anyone from creeping underneath the detector unnoticed.
