Reliable alarm sounding
This professional sounder is the most important component of a completely wireless alarm chain. The wireless outdoor sounder with flashing LED is a combination sounder. If an alarm is triggered, the sounders generate a very loud signal tone with 105 dB of sound pressure. The sounder alarm duration can be set to 3 or 15 minutes. In addition to the acoustic warning, a visual alarm by way of a red LED (flashing frequency 1 Hz) is also triggered. The LED can be positioned above or below the sounder. The flashing light and sounder can be configured separately, meaning the light can be set to continue flashing once the signal tone ends after a defined time.
Sounders and Secvest communicate with each other at 868.6625 MHz, a wireless frequency that is specially reserved for the security industry. A cover and seal contact protect the wireless outdoor sounder from tampering. In the event of tampering, the wireless outdoor sounder automatically triggers or forwards the tampering message to the Secvest alarm panel.
