The TECTIQ desktop reader is used to teach in, write and update TECTIQ locking media on a PC.

Equipment for every TECTIQ system

The desktop reader handles the data transfer between locking/system media and the TECTIQ access control panel. It synchronises the data on the locking medium with the system quickly and with readout protection. Management is carried out in the TECTIQ Access Manager PC software.

Flexible use, secure remote access

Data transmission between the desktop reader and the access control centre works from any PC, whether in the facility office, HR department, reception or at the gate. The data is always transmitted in encrypted form via a secure connection. Even when accessing your system remotely using TECTIQ Access Manager, e.g. from your home office or another location.

Simple handling (plug-and-play)

The desktop reader is simply connected to the PC via USB 2.0. The data connection (incl. power supply) is established via plug-and-play, without any tedious configuration. The desktop reader signals write/read processes visually (coloured LED) and acoustically (confirmation tone).
