    Municipality

Areas housing sensitive IT equipment and confidential documents, or facilities open to the public – the security and organisational requirements in local government administrative buildings are high. This is particularly true when there are several properties and buildings to manage.

    Care

Residents need easy access to their rooms, whilst at the same time people with dementia require protection. Staff need individual access rights, for example to medicine cupboards, as well as the flexibility to adapt to situations such as shift changes, service providers or emergencies.

    School

Protection against unauthorised access is a top priority in schools. Equally important are flexible access solutions for different user groups –
from teachers and administrative staff to caretakers, school governing bodies and external organisations.

    Nursery

Children must not leave the premises unsupervised, whilst unauthorised persons must be consistently denied access. At the same time, flexible arrangements are needed for drop-off and pick-up times, as well as for suppliers, service providers and staff of the organisation running the facility.

Whether it’s an administrative building, a nursery, a school or a care home, whether you’re retrofitting an existing locking system or installing a completely new one: ABUS locking system components are so flexible that they can be easily integrated into any property.

Take hybrid locking systems, for example; these consist of both mechanical and electronic door components. Example shown in the image: the main entrance is secured by an electronic wall-mounted reader, whilst other areas are secured by electronic fittings, including door handles and electronic lock cylinders with rotary knobs. The remaining rooms are fitted with mechanical door cylinders.

Whether combined, mechanical or electronic: ABUS locking systems can be planned and installed on site in a highly cost-effective manner and tailored entirely to your requirements.

    Mechanical systems

Whether as an upgrade to an existing system or in a new build, ABUS mechanical lock cylinders – featuring innovative magnetic technology, for example – set the highest standards in copy protection.

    Combined systems

This key is sure to raise a few eyebrows: it can be used to operate all mechanical door cylinders and all electronic door components, as and when required.
Handy for managing directors, IT staff and cleaning staff, for example.

    Electronic access control

For entire buildings (including those spread across multiple sites) and areas or rooms requiring special protection: electronic door components are particularly useful when, for example, access authorisations change frequently or keys are lost.

Protection against physical tampering with door components, as well as fire safety, is of the utmost importance in any building. With ABUS, you can rely on the highest quality, including several security certifications (such as SKG***, IP67, T90, etc.).

What else makes our locking systems so special? With the free management software, authorisations for the electronic components can be added, amended or deleted more easily than ever before. Lost a key fob? Just a few clicks in the unique digital locking plan matrix are all it takes – even for users with no prior knowledge. Another handy feature: multiple properties and buildings can be managed centrally from a single location as required – flexibly from any PC or laptop. This allows you to maintain control over all access authorisations at all times.

Interested? One of our property consultants would be happy to demonstrate the digital locking plan and other fully functional components to you via an online call. Or in person at your premises, with no obligation.
