The dual wireless motion detector combines two detection methods to precisely detect movement: passive infrared (PIR) and 24 GHz microwave technology (MW). It not only detects movements in the room, but also the body heat field of living beings.

Secure and reliable: close-meshed surveillance
The wireless PIR/MW detector is certified to EN 50131 Grade 2 and therefore meets the highest security standards. With a detection range of up to 12 metres and an opening angle of 110 degrees, the detector covers large rooms almost completely. The lens design of the PIR sensor ensures uniform coverage of the room, while active microwave monitoring even avoids blind spots. An alarm is only triggered if both sensors detect movement, which maximises protection against false alarms.

Pet-immune and flexibly adjustable

Thanks to the pet-immune function, the motion detector ignores animals weighing up to 27 kg. The sensitivity of both sensors can be individually adjusted so that the detector adapts optimally to the surroundings.

Secure connection, long range

The wireless motion detector connects securely to the Comfion alarm panel and is protected against tampering by the AES128 encryption method – comparable to the security in online banking. With a range of up to 1,000 metres (free field), the camera has a stable wireless connection from anywhere in the house – even over long distances or in buildings with radio-inhibiting materials.

Simple and flexible installation

The detector can be flexibly mounted on the wall or in a corner at a height of 2.10 to 2.30 metres and configured via the Comfion app.
