New generations are taking over Secvest Is Retiring
Thank you, Secvest, for so many wonderful years together!
For more than 20 years, our Secvest alarm system has served us as a highly reliable alarm solution that is very popular with end customers. This “old lady” is getting on in years, and the possibilities for further technical development of Secvest have been nearly exhausted.
Therefore, we are sending Secvest off into well-deserved retirement and will discontinue further development and marketing of the system as of December 31, 2027. From that point on, we will focus our development efforts on our modern alarm systems, Secoris and Comfion Pro.
The Secoris hybrid system ecosystem is highly compatible with Secvest, making it a true successor. Comfion Pro belongs to the generation of smart alarm systems.
Yes. That date marks the end of active development and marketing of new Secvest systems. An existing, fully functional system can generally continue to be used.
Secvest remains a proven and reliable wireless alarm system. The decision to discontinue active development is not based on any fundamental lack of security features, but rather on limited technological and functional development possibilities. Of course, we will continue to provide security updates as needed.
No. A direct replacement is generally not necessary. Whether and when an upgrade makes sense depends on the condition of your system and your specific needs.
Spare parts and suitable alternative products will continue to be available for existing Secvest installations even after active marketing has ended.
Depending on the existing installation and the selected replacement system, components can generally continue to be used. Your ABUS authorized dealer will determine on a case-by-case basis which specific components can be reused.
Comfion Pro is particularly well-suited for apartments, single-family homes, and smaller commercial properties. For larger buildings or more extensive security requirements, Secoris may be the right solution.
Your ABUS authorized dealer will provide you with personalized advice, inspect your existing installation, and work with you to plan a suitable solution.
Yes, we offer attractive options for switching, especially for existing Secvest customers. Please contact your ABUS authorized dealer directly. They will discuss the best solution with you and provide you with an attractive offer.
