Pamplona 2024 - Performance meets precision
In October 2024, the ABUS development team travelled to Pamplona in Spain to put the AirBreaker 2.0 through its paces together with the Movistar Men's WorldTour Team. The focus was on final adjustments in the wind tunnel, optimising the ventilation and fine-tuning the aerodynamics of the carbon structure.
Together with professional riders such as Enric Mas, Einer Rubio and Iván Romeo as well as the team's technical staff, every detail was scrutinised - from the belt seat to the airflow. The aim: maximum efficiency in terms of speed, ventilation and comfort.
Facts for real performance
With the help of wind tunnel data and thermal comparisons, the airflow management was optimised down to the last detail. Together with riders and engineers, we have revised the ventilation system and ensured that the aerodynamics of the helmet are directly translated into real speed and cooling.
"The Movistar team and its technical director demand facts, i.e. technical data. Only what is convincing in the wind tunnel is used. At this level, numbers decide victories." Lukas Tamajka, Product Manager Racing Helmets
Every second counts. Every watt counts.
The AirBreaker 2.0 has been optimised for real competition conditions - together with the most demanding riders of the Movistar team. Because real performance is not created in the laboratory, but on the road.
