LS1020 Optimum operational security and a wide range of applications

The wire infrared photoelectric sensor secures a range of up to 20 m. The intelligent tamper protection of the transmitter and receiver ensures maximum operational security. In combination with the ABUS Terxon wired alarm system, the photocell can be used to monitor corridors, doors or car parks. Control of video surveillance systems or lighting can also be realised easily.

Precise detection
In contrast to passive infrared motion detectors, infrared light barriers only monitor a precisely defined line. However, movements within the area in front of and next to this line are not detected. This means that persons walking past are not detected as long as they do not cross the invisible line.
