MK2000W Secure windows and doors

The wired opening detector with NO contact is a magnetic contact that can be used to secure doors and windows. The NO contact consists of a magnet and a reed contact. These are attached either parallel, end-on or orthogonally at a distance of at least 13 mm from each other. The detector circuit with NO contact is open in the idle state. If the distance between the reed contact and the detector increases by approx. 2 cm, as is the case when opening windows and doors, the circuit is closed and an alarm is signalled to the alarm panel.

Flexible mounting solutions
The optimum mounting location is the centre of the door or window frame. Installation on the lower window frame is also possible if a specific window is to be tilted when the magnetic contact is secured. The detector is suitable for both surface and flush mounting and is available in the colours white and brown. The detector is suitable for wired alarm systems, including ABUS Terxon.
