With the passive glass break alarm, you can monitor a single window pane. The alarm is attached directly to the window pane to be secured. The ultrasonic frequencies generated by glass breakage are detected and reported to the alarm panel. The passive glass break alarm is installed at a distance of 20 to 50 mm from the frame of the window pane. Important: The alarm should be installed in such a way that you notice immediately if there is no longer any contact with the window pane. The cable should not be crushed when opening/closing the window. Mounted in a corner of the window, the passive glass break alarm monitors an area of up to 4m². Its maximum monitoring radius is 2 metres. The passive glass break alarm works with an integrated piezo element. It reacts to the sound frequency generated by breaking glass. In the event of an alarm, a CMOS relay is opened. The glass break alarm is potential-free, which means that a power supply is not necessary. The glass break alarm is available in several colours.
