In addition to break-in protection, protection of persons inside is also becoming increasingly important, because crooks and burglars do not only come when you are out of the house.

To protect you from a robbery in your own four walls or dodgy business at the front door, it is a good idea to use security door bars with a door guard. For the PR2600, PR2700 and PR2800 models, ABUS has developed the ABUS PSB2700 door guard module as an optional accessory. This is simply attached to the security door bar instead of the standard bolt end piece and allows the door to be opened a crack wide when secured. This way you can receive mail or talk to someone you don't know at the door without the danger of someone putting their foot in the door or pushing the door all the way open.
