PREFIRA™ 10 PROTECTS FOR MANY YEARS

The PREFIRA 10 warns of smoke and fire – day and night, year after year. Thanks to its permanently installed 10-year battery, it offers long-lasting fire safety without the need to change the battery. That means less effort and creates a good feeling.

The Q mark-certified smoke alarm fulfils high quality requirements and stands for tested durability, reliable operation and a low false alarm rate.

Like all PREFIRA models, the PREFIRA 10 also relies on intelligent false alarm reduction:

An insect protection screen around the smoke chamber prevents unwanted alarm triggering by the smallest animals.
The contamination compensation ensures recalibration of the smoke chamber and thus compensates for soiling by dust and other particles – for consistently precise smoke detection.

Its discreet, timeless design blends harmoniously into almost any living space. The large test button on the underside makes it easy to carry out a function check and mute the alarm – easily accessible, also with an aid such as a stick or broom handle.

Whether at home or on the road in a camper van – the PREFIRA 10 is quickly installed and ready to give an early and loud warning if smoke develops.

Technologies

Smoke alarm function: the alarm detects visible smoke particles in the air and triggers a loud alarm in the event of danger – for an early warning in the event of fires
Contamination compensation: thanks to recalibration of the smoke chamber, the alarm threshold is automatically adjusted to increasing contamination to effectively counteract false alarms caused by dust
Insect screen: a fine-meshed screen that prevents false alarms caused by insects and other small animals entering the smoke chamber
Translucent LED: for a pleasant lighting effect, the status LED is located under the housing of the alarm – for a harmonious look without glaring points of light
Large-area test button: almost the entire underside of the alarm serves as a button and can be reached quickly for a function test – with a broom handle or rod, for example
Mute: the alarm tone can be temporarily switched off by pressing the test button – the alarm remains active and issues an alarm again after 10 minutes if smoke is still detected
Battery: the alarm is equipped with a permanently installed CR123A battery with a service life of up to 10 years – smoke and heat alarms should be replaced after 10 years of use
Automatic self-test: silently checks the battery and sensors every 8 seconds
Acoustic and visual alarm: in the event of danger, the alarm issues a clearly audible warning with a loud alarm tone and by flashing the status LED
Simple screw mounting: the alarm's mounting plate is attached to the ceiling with screws and dowels (included in the scope of delivery)
Tested and certified: the alarm fulfils the increased Q mark standards applicable from 2026 and the European standard EN 14604:2005/AC:2008 – certified by the KRIWAN test centre
