    Description
    Effective fire safety does not have to be conspicuous: the PREFIRA SLIM with a permanently installed 10-year battery is particularly flat thanks to its low height of 2.85 cm. It detects smoke just as reliably as larger smoke alarms – whether in the bedroom, children's room, living room, hallway or in the living area of a camper van.
    Sleep easily and peacefully thanks to the good feeling of safety – and thanks to a status LED that dims its light intensity in the dark. There are no bright flashing lights to disturb your sleep. And even during the day, the LED light does not catch the eye, as it only shines discreetly through the white housing.
    Alarm only in case of danger
    False alarms are reduced threefold:
    • In the smoke chamber, two LEDs instead of just one ensure precise detection of smoke.
    • A grille protects the smoke chamber against insects entering the alarm.
    • The contamination compensation ensures that even gradually accumulated dust does not impair smoke detection.

    Technologies

    • Flat design: thanks to its particularly flat design with a height of just 2,85 cm, the alarm blends unobtrusively into any room
    • Smoke alarm function: the alarm detects visible smoke particles in the air and triggers a loud alarm in the event of danger – for an early warning in the event of fires
    • Improved smoke chamber technology: automatic contamination compensation and two infrared LEDs in the smoke chamber enable more precise smoke detection and effectively reduce false alarms caused by dust and other particles
    • Insect screen: a fine-meshed screen that prevents false alarms caused by insects and other small animals entering the smoke chamber
    • Translucent LED: for a pleasant lighting effect, the status LED is located under the housing of the alarm – for a harmonious look without glaring points of light
    • Suitable for bedrooms thanks to adaptive LED brightness: a sensor in the detector recognises when the ambient light gets darker and dims the light intensity of the status LED – for undisturbed falling asleep and sleeping through the night
    • Large-area test button: almost the entire underside of the alarm serves as a button and can be reached quickly for a function test – with a broom handle or rod, for example
    • Mute: the alarm tone can be temporarily switched off by pressing the test button – the alarm remains active and issues an alarm again after 10 minutes if smoke is still detected
    • Battery: the alarm is equipped with a permanently installed CR123A battery with a service life of up to 10 years – smoke and heat alarms should be replaced after 10 years of use
    • Automatic self-test: silently checks the battery and sensors every 8 seconds
    • Acoustic and visual alarm: in the event of danger, the alarm issues a clearly audible warning with a loud alarm tone and by flashing the status LED
    • Simple adhesive mounting without drilling: the alarm can be quickly and securely mounted on the ceiling thanks to the adhesive pad already attached – alternatively with the enclosed screws and dowels
    • Integrated magnetic holder: the detector can be easily attached to the mounting plate thanks to the built-in magnet
    • Tested and certified: the alarm fulfils the increased Q mark standards applicable from 2026 and the European standard EN 14604:2005/AC:2008 – certified by the KRIWAN test centre
