    Description



    Door opening detector
    The VdS C door opening detector is a magnetic contact that can secure larger doors (e.g. garages, roller doors). Unauthorised opening is detected and reported to the IAS or alarm system.

    Can be used flexibly on almost any door
    The door opening detector is used to protect rolling, sliding and overhead doors.

    Function
    The detector consists of a magnet and magnetic contact (reed), mounted parallel to each other. If the distance between them remains constant, the detector remains idle. If the distance increases, an alarm is triggered.

    Tampering and sabotage protection
    The detector is protected against sabotage by means of external field protection. Only the magnet belonging to this door contact keeps it in the idle state. Any change, e.g. a foreign magnet (different field strength) interrupting the idle state, and an alarm is triggered.

    Professional assembly
    The best installation location for the opening detector is in the middle of the entrance. The magnetic contact is mounted on the ground, the magnet at a distance of approx. 20 mm on the inside of the door. The door contact is suitable for surface mounting. It is completely waterproof and dustproof (IP68) and protected against damage, such as driving over it, thanks to its robust plastic housing.

    The wire detector is certified according to VdS C and EN grade 3.
