The EN Grade 2 certified wire motion detector combines the advantages of two sensors and provides high security against false alarms: An alarm is only if both sensors with separate detection methods, passive infrared (PIR) and microwaves (MW), detect a movement. For example, the PIR sensor reacts to moving body heat, while the MW sensor actively monitors the surroundings (cf. radar).

PET immunity: For your beloved pet
Optional pet-immune” function, adjustable to 3 levels, distinguishes between humans and animals. Moving persons are reliably detected while pets weighing up to 15 kg are ignored. In rare individual cases, however, a lighter animal may set off the detector, e.g., if it runs, jumps, or flies close to the detector.

Technology and installation
Optimal mounting location is in a corner, about 1.80 to 2.40 m above the floor. The expected direction of travel of an intruder should be across the detector. The viewing angle is approx. 90 degrees, the detection range (depending on the mounting height) up to 12 x 12 m. The spherical lens design ensures extremely reliable detection thanks to uniform room coverage. Thanks to integrated anti-creep protection, the detector has no blind spots and also detects people directly underneath it.

Individual range settings
The microwave range is variably adjustable to cover exactly the desired area.
